The Nike and atmos partnership from 2006 served as the basis for the atmos x Air Max 1 DLX. Nike has linked with the Japanese sneaker store to produce a shoe covered in pony, tiger, zebra and leopard prints for this updated version of the original design. The white colours of the 2006 model have been replaced with black detailing on the top of the 2018 Air Max 1. The other half of Nike's 2018 "Animal Pack" with atmos, an Air Max 95, is represented by this design.
